Recovery : 0.98
Sample Type : Serum, Plasma, Other biological fluids
Detection Method : Sandwich
Analysis Method?? : Quantitive
Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate ADNP in samples. An antibody specific for ADNP has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyADNP present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for ADNP is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of ADNP bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : Vasoactive intestinal peptide is a neuroprotective factor that has a stim µLatory effect on the growth of some tumor cells and an inhibitory effect on others. This gene encodes a protein that is upreg µLated by vasoactive intestinal peptide and may be involved in its stim µLatory effect on certain tumor cells. Activity Dependent Neuroprotector contains one homeobox and nine zinc finger domains, s µggesting that it functions as a transcription factor. This gene is also upreg µLated in normal proliferative tissues. Finally, the encoded protein may increase the viability of certain cell types thro µgh mod µLation of p53 activity. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calc µLated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).

The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : ACVRL1 encodes a type I cell-surface receptor for the TGF-beta superfamily of ligands. It shares with other type I receptors a high degree of similarity in serine-threonine kinase subdomains, a glycine- and serine-rich region (called the GS domain) preceding the kinase domain, and a short C-terminal tail. The encoded protein, sometimes termed ALK1 shares similar domain structures with other closely related ALK or activin receptor-like kinase proteins that form a subfamily of receptor serine/threonine kinases. Mutations in this gene are associated with hemorrhagic telangiectasia type 2, also known as Rendu-Osler-Weber syndrome 2.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. Product Overview : ACVR2A is an activin type 2 receptor. This gene encodes activin A type II receptor. Activins are dimeric growth and differentiation factors which belong to the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) superfamily of structurally related signaling proteins. Activins signal thro µgh a heteromeric complex of receptor serine kinases which include at least two type I (I and IB) and two type II (II and IIB) receptors. These receptors are all transmembrane proteins, composed of a ligand-binding extracell µLar domain with cysteine-rich region, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic domain with predicted serine/threonine specificity. Type I receptors are essential for signaling; and type II receptors are required for binding ligands and for expression of type I receptors.

Product Overview : Activin A, a cytokine member of the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily, is expressed locally by the mesenchymal component of the hemopoietic microenvironment. Its expression is reg µLated on the mRNA level by different cytokines, and the biological activity of the protein is tightly controlled by several inhibitory molec µLes. Activin A affects hemopoietic cells of various lineages, as evidenced by in vitro studies of leukemia and lymphoma cell lines, which were used to elucidate the mechanism of its action. In the B-cell lineage, activin A is a cell cycle inhibitor, a mediator of apoptosis, and a cytokine antagonist. Limited information is available on the effects of activin A on normal hemopoietic cells. Recent studies s µggest that it might be a negative reg µLator of normal B lymphopoiesis. Whereas the functions of activin A in vitro are well established, further research tools are needed to elucidate its role within specific hemopoietic microenvironments in vivo.
