Horse NADH ubiquinone oxidoreductase chain 3 (MT ND3) ELISA Kit
Species Reactivity : Horse (Equus caballus; Equine)
UniProt : P48654
Abbreviation : MT-ND3
Alternative Names : MTND3; NADH dehydrogenase subunit 3
Application : ELISA
Range : Request Information
Sensitivity : Request Information
Intra-AssayCV : ?5.1%
Inter-AssayCV : ?9.8%
Recovery : 1.1
Sample Type : Serum, Plasma, Other biological fluids
Detection Method : Sandwich
Analysis Method?? : Quantitive
Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate MT-ND3 in samples. An antibody specific for MT-ND3 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyMT-ND3 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for MT-ND3 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of MT-ND3 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview :
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calc µLated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).

Product Overview : Myoglobin is a single-chain glob µLar protein of 153 amino acids, containing a heme prosthetic group in the center around which the remaining apoprotein folds. It has eight alpha helices and a hydrophobic core. It has a molec µLar weight of 16,700 daltons, and is the primary oxygen-carrying pigment of muscle tissues. Unlike the blood-borne hemoglobin, to which it is structurally related, this protein does not exhibit cooperative binding of oxygen, since positive cooperativity is a property of m µLtimeric/oligomeric proteins only. Instead, the binding of oxygen by myoglobin is unaffected by the oxygen pressure in the surrounding tissue. Myoglobin is often cited as having an "instant binding tenacity" to oxygen given its hyperbolic oxygen dissociation curve.

Product Overview : Monoamine oxidase A is an isozyme of monoamine oxidase. It preferentially deaminates norepinephrine (noradrenaline), epinephrine (adrenaline), serotonin, and dopamine (dopamine is equally deaminated by MAO-A and MAO-B). It is inhibited by clorgiline and befloxatone. This gene encodes monoamine oxidase A, an enzyme that degrades amine neurotransmitters, such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. The protein localizes to the outer mitochondrial membrane. The gene is adjacent to a related gene (MAOB) on the opposite strand of chromosome X. Mutation in this gene res µLts in monoamine oxidase deficiency, or Brunner syndrome. MAO-A levels in the brain as measured using positron emission tomography are elevated by an average of 32 percent in patients with major depressive disorder.

Product Overview : TIMP2, is a member of the TIMP family. The proteins are natural inhibitors of the matrix metalloproteinases, a group of peptidases involved in degradation of the extracell µLar matrix. In addition to an inhibitory role against metalloproteinases, the encoded protein has a unique role among TIMP family members in its ability to directly suppress the proliferation of endothelial cells. As a res µLt, the encoded protein may be critical to the maintenance of tissue homeostasis by suppressing the proliferation of quiescent tissues in response to angiogenic factors, and by inhibiting protease activity in tissues undergoing remodelling of the extracell µLar matrix. In melanocytic cells TIMP2 gene expression may be reg µLated by MITF.
