AMPK alpha 1 Antibody
AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) is a critical energy sensor in cells, composed of α, β, and γ subunits. The α subunit exists in two isoforms: α1 and α2. The α1 isoform, encoded by the PRKAA1 gene, plays a significant role in regulating metabolic pathways, including lipid and glucose metabolism. To facilitate the study of AMPKα1, several antibodies have been developed, each with distinct characteristics suitable for various research applications.
